BAD I KNOW!

ok, i know i am really late and bad at this again, my sorries to the ones how have "yelled" in a good way, at me. i am trying. very busy and alot of things on my mind lately. so here we go again!
first, i only have 2 more fire classes to go so that's a HUGE plus! and the classes left should not be bad, we get to burn a house down in one, and the other we get to start and (of course) put out a grass fire. so i am kinda excited. then comes the big test, which i will be studying my booty off, and prolly calling all fire fighters in my phonebook to help answer my questions, (here is my apology to the wives, girlfriends, any guys who are in my phone book, for ringing your phone to death in the 2 weeks before the test, may 17th. and the thank you for helping me out! also the sorry for prolly not blogging durning that time period too). :) so keeping my fingure crossed that i do well and pass the test, and then comes a break before i start first responder classes (which is another story all in itself)
second, ummm now that i have 2 classes left, i am finally getting back to my home away from home, THE GYM! unlike everyone else i work a funky schedule, and can't go to these zumba classes i hear all about, so i go to the gym at work. i like running, it helps me clear my head alot of the times, and when i am off work (10pm) no one else is in the gym... which is kinda nice. plus i have a bridesmaids dress to get into on June 20th, and that date is rapidly approaching, grrr. oh well. should be fun!
third... i am looking for houses still. yes i am being picky, but i figure if i am going to live somewhere i have to like it and therefore i am going to get alot of what i want out of it. and friends have helped me by saying for a few cases of beer, they would help on any improvements that need done. lol love them for that! but lately all the nice ones that are in ok condition (i don't mind getting dirty and making improvments) have this ugly old 1960's wood panneling that is just GROSS! and i would rather not deal with it, but might have to. but daddy has spoiled me with letting me park in the garage, and i totally love not having to go out in the winter and scrap my car off lol. so still hunting, but always looking.
and finally, i took a big deep breath yesterday, and finally did something for myself. i went to the hair salon where my 2 good friends work and told one to just do whatever! so 2 1/2 hrs later, 3inches off the hair, and 2 different colors added to my hair later.... i feel better and love the results. not that anyone i work with has really notices, but it was a suddle change of adding carmel and red highlights to my hair that i feel works. with the new cut i just feel more edge-ier if that makes sense. and it doesn't matter to me that no one else really notices, i like it and that is all that matters to me. lol i am calling it wither rocker-glam or skateboard-chic... lol ;)

so there's my update for the time being... hope i get better at this, but one never knows with my wild and crazy life... miss you all and thanks for reading! :)

Alrighty!

Getting back in the swing of this! lol or at least trying to! I just learned that I am FINALLY enrolled into my Fire Fighter 101 and 102 classes. This means, i am one step closer to becoming fully licensed. Scarey factor... it's 3 months of classes that start pretty soon, so here goes my crazy crazy schedule again! luckly it's only on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Sooo here i am with my fingures crossed!

Next... just alittle bit of my FUN and AWESOME time in Indy! soo happy i got to hang out with Sam and Megs again, friends from college. We went out on Friday night, with Vanessa and her woderful boyfriend Jason. Then got to hang out with Megs at a surprise birthday party for her sister. it was fun, we got to talk alot about Meg's up coming wedding that i am in... which i haven't been in a dress in like 5yrs... so this will be interesting! but it's a cute dress and not really worried about that. (i have started working out LOL!)

Ok, ok... i am gettin worst at this!

Ok, so i know i am getting bad at this again! Sorry Jillie! but i haven't really had alot going on other than being busy. I did get to take a vacation for 8 days, which included going to Indy and seeing Sam again. It was FUN! i got to chill out, relax, go out and have a blast on the town! and most important i got my Jimmy Johns! which if you don't know what that is, it is a sub place that TOTALLY beats subway or Quizno's ... i know hard to believe but true! LOL so down time was very good for me!
now it's back to work and fire department stuff all over again. Still working 2nd shift, and in the time that i am not working i am either at the fire department, babysitting, or out somewhere running around. gotta keep busy! lol might need another vacation soon! ;)
but i hope in the mean time i can update this more, and keep my 2 readers ohh sooo clear on what's up in my life.
second i would like to say BIG CONGRATS TO MISS EMMA!! or should i say MRS. EMMA! i am soo proud of you and happy about yout new marriage, saw some pics on your facebook, and you were just BEAUTIFUL! hope that everything is going wonderful in your new married life! you deserve the best! :)

I'm back!!

FINALLY! at least that is prolly what jill is thinking. lol! sorry girlie! it's been awhile this i know, but there was nothing great that happened, and so now i have news.....
I PASSED MY FIRE TEST!! Whhhhhhoooooooo!
haha, i know i am a dork... but the state actually lost my test then i had to call down there many times and finally got the confirmation. so i am well on my way. why silly things always happen to me is totally unknown, but they always make fun stories.

on another note.... i got nothing, just wanted to see if you were paying attention! ;) yeah, that is how bored i am! :)

Jill is making me!

Ok, so i started to get bad at this blog thing, but it's not my fault. 1. i have been very very busy with work, fire classes, and trying to have a social life. which leads me to the other point... 2. i have nothing new to report! lol. but jill is making me update so here it goes.

i have one week and one day left before i take my fire fighting test for the 24 hour. this means that IF i pass i will actually be able to go on runs, not actually into buildings when they are on fire, but at least starting to get some experience under my belt. so keep those fingers crossed for me! other than that i have been very busy triny to cover work shifts, which is again not anything out of the ordinary. but one has to work and let's face it over time is not all that bad.

one final thing, i have a job interview on monday, kinda excited about but we will see, i don't want to put all my eggs in one basket so i am trying not to say alot about it right now. but i will let you know how it goes. :)

Starting my 24hrs. Class

Just wanted to give an update that i have been waiting for!!!! I AM FINALLY ENROLLED IN MY FIRST FIRE CLASS!!! totally excited! i have alittle over a month of saturday classes to take and then as long as i pass the test on oct. 18th, i will be able to start making runs. So keep your fingures crossed that i pass! LOL! thanks for the wonderful wishes Jillie! :)

Drags Races!

This weekend, I got to go to the NHRA Nationals in Indy... and just let me say... ONE OF THE COOLEST THINGS I HAVE EVER SEEN! I fell in love with it! The fast pace of the races, the way they just FLEW down the track... it was AWESOME! plus being the only girl with 5 other guys... yeah they didn't think i would cut it! LOL but i am sooo excited to go back again next year!
Oh yeah i even got a hat! The funny cars were great and until it was dark out i didn't even know that flames came out the side! i would recommend it to anyone... quite a rush! Man, if i could only get the job as a driver to one of these cars... i would be set! hope that everyone else had a great weekend! just thought i would keep the blog thing up jillie! LOL! ;)
